Vande   Mataram

India National Song Vande Mataram was written in 1870 in Sanskritized Bengali by- Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay:-

Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay CIE was an Bengali Indian novelist, poet and journalist. Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, first published "Vande Mataram" a spiritual and patriotic ode( poem) in 1882 in his novel Anandamath:-

At Kolkata session of India National Congress, in 1896 Vande Mataram is first sung by Rabindranath Tagore:-

In october 1937, Congress working committee adopted first two verses of poem as national song of India.

Then "Vande Mataram" poem was officialy adopted as national song of Republic of India in 24^thJanuary 1950, by India's constituent assembly led by then- First President of India Dr. Rajendra Prasad:-

Officially adopted poem "Vande Mataram" as national song having equal status with national anthem, "Jana Gana Mana" because it play a very important role in freedom struggle. India's constituent assembly give honor to its signigicant contribution in India's freedom movement or struggle because it become a very powerful rallying cry which unified force, inspiring nationalism and it become symbol of resistance and defiance against British rule in many freedom struggle movement especially during Sewadeshi Movement.

Vande Mataram connected people emotionally to homeland which make it central chant in assemblies, protests and revolutionary acts. Powerful and motivating slogan use for unifying masses across regions, languages and casts.

Vande Mataram become resistance symbal after British banned from public singing which solidify anti-colonial message.

Due to which India's consitituent assemble officially adopted "Vande Mataram" poem as India national song.
